In this paper the authors show how the strong confinements imposed by nanoporous hosts on the imbedded electrolyte phase fundamentally change the mechanisms for mass and charge transport.

This knowledge will help to tailor porous polymers and covalent−organic frameworks (COFs) for electrolyte-host systems with liquidlike conductivities in the future.
